The ALPA Pro Lens Shade is continously adjustable for outer lens diameters of 70 to 75 mm. It does not screw in in the filter thread as other lens shades but clamps on the outer barrel. Just twist the ergonomical ring for an easy mounting/unmouting. It is therefore easily possible to "zoom" the lens shade on lenses with deep front elements like the Rodenstock/ALPA HR Alpagon 5.6/23 mm etc.

The PLS is recommended for the following lenses:

• Rodenstock/ALPA Alpagon HR 5.6/23 mm
• Rodenstock HR Digaron-S 4.5/28 mm
• Rodenstock HR Digaron-S 4.0/35 mm
• Rodenstock/ALPA Alpagon HR 4.0/40 mm
• Rodenstock/ALPA Alpagon HR 4.0/50 mm
• Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 5.6/90 mm

It is also possible to use with:

• Schneider/ALPA Apo-Helvetar 48 mm
• Rodenstock/ALPA AAA 45 mm
• Rodenstock/ALPA AAA 55 mm
• Schneider Super-Angulon 47 mm XL
• Schneider Super-Angulon 58 mm XL

Please note that vignetting might occur depending on the lens movement (shift). Due to it's versatility the PLS can then often get retracted a little bit for a proper function.
